The COVID-19 outbreak is upon us and we all need to take measures to stay healthy. This list is from the World Health Organisation.
1. Wash your hands
Frequently and thoroughly you must clean your hands up to the wrist with soap and water or and an alcohol-based gel (minimum 60% alcohol).
There is nothing better than the soap.
If you are often on the go or with children out of your home, carry with you a alcohol-based gel.
2. Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth
You might not be able to wash your hands so avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth to avoid infection.
3. Maintain social distancing
Maintain at least 1 metre (3 feet) distance between yourself and anyone in case of coughing or sneezing. If it happens that you are too close you take the risk to infect or be infected.
4. Practice respiratory hygiene
Make sure you and the people around you observe the right respiratory hygiene. This means covering your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze. Then dispose of the used tissue immediately.
5. reinforce your immune system
This is a simple practice: avoid smoking, eat fresh products, exercise plenty, add supplement like vitamins or propolis, and get adequate sleep.
